Fun Day at the Park!

We couldn't have picked a better day than today to play at the park!  Wow!  The kids played on the swingsets and other playground equipment, they played kickball, basketball, wiffle ball to name a few.  Some just hung out on their beach towels eating watermelon!  We were treated to pizza for lunch by the PTO and had freeze pops on our return to school!  All in all, everyone had a FUN DAY!!  What a great way to end the year! Curious Creatures

Today we had a spontaneous invite to go up to the gym to see the Curious Creatures presentation.  Lots of excitement and curiosity filled the gym, as you can imagine.  I'm glad I brought my phone up to snap some of the excitement!  enjoy!

Know Atom Science

In science, we have been learning about a few different topics:  sedimentary rock, fossils in the earth's crust, Pangaea and plant cells.  Also we are now observing seeds we planted to see if some are growing faster when given more water than other seeds.  Here are some random pictures I have taken from our labs!

Wall Ball Tournament

Our Wall Ball Competition happened last week.  Our class competed against Ms. Sutherland's class.  The winner is Kyle!  Yay Kyle!  Because our class won BOTH tournaments, we won two extra recess!  We will definitely be using those soon!  Congratulations Kyle!!
